阿拓06年挑ROY時已經知道他的膝蓋不好了，他們去年夏天給ROY五年82M的大約時
也知道ROY其中一隻膝蓋的半月板都沒了（！？）。
: Roy, 26, is sitting out the second of three consecutive games tonight because
: of swelling and pain in his left knee. Roy revealed last week that after his
: 2008 surgery on his left knee, and the 2010 surgery on his right knee, he no
: longer had meniscus in either knee.
26歲的ROY在三場連戰中的第二場缺席了，因為他左膝的的腫脹和疼痛。ROY看起來

: Miller said the team was aware of the condition of Roy's knees when they were
: negotiating his contract extension, and that it entered the discussion.
: However, in the end, Miller said Roy's body of work won out.
總裁說他們跟ROY談續約的事情時已經知道ROY膝蓋的狀況，也有考慮到膝蓋的問題，
最後總裁說ROY身體的條件還是勝出了（？）。
: "When he was drafted, we knew there were problems with his knees,'' Miller
: said. "When we talked about his extension last summer, it did come into play
: and into the discussions. But at the end of the day, he was the face of
: turning this organization and franchise around. He was Rookie of the Year, a
: three-time time All Star ... it just made all the sense in the world to give
: him the deal we gave him.
「當他被選的時候我們就知道他膝蓋有問題了，談到續約時也有考慮到這個問題，
最後他扭轉了對他不利的局勢。他是當年的最佳新人，三度入選全明星...這也是我們
跟他簽約的理由。」總裁說。
: "There was some consideration given to (his knees) - but as we looked at it
: and talked - we decided he had earned this. He has earned this max contract
: regardless of what problems might come along.''
對於他的膝蓋有些意見沒錯，但我們討論後，我們決定他值得這份約，
即使他接著可能會有相關的問題。
: Miller said he has been briefed on Roy's condition by athletic trainer Jay
: Jensen, and is confident that Roy can maintain his level of All-Star play,
: even if he might have to change his playing style. He said Roy's knees are
: not an "acute problem" but rather "a chronic problem."
總裁說ROY的訓練員有向他簡要地說明ROY的狀況，也有自信他可以維持全明星的身手，
即使他可能要改變他打球的方式。他（訓練員）說ROY的膝蓋並不是一個「嚴重的
問題」只是個「長期的難以治癒的」問題。
: "I still personally think Brandon is going to be a star in this league.
: Brandon is a smart enough player. If his athleticism is going to change and
: be limited, he is going to find a way to contribute and be effective on the
: basketball court. I liken it to Michael Jordan. As he got older, he changed
: way he played to be effective. Brandon will figure it out. He will still be
: effective and be a star.''
「我個人還是覺得ROY還會是聯盟裡面的明星，他是個聰明的球員，假使他必須因此
受限而改變打法，他也會找到在場上做出效率和貢獻的方法。我喜歡老喬，當他年
紀越來越大時，他也有改變打法來變得更有效率。ROY也會瞭解到他還是個明星且
有效率的球員。」總裁說。
