Pay attention: with this foot you will give the jump to the shot or to the pass. 3) So, while the other foot (non-pivot foot) is in air (in direction to floor), you can lift your pivot foot, in this moment, both feet are in the air (no contact with the floor). This is the key: in the continuous movement the other foot (non-pivot foot) will have contact with the floor to the jump. This movement must be quick (the idea is: the movement must maintain a rhythm). So, in this play situation, the non-pivot foot is the strong foot to the jump (remember the other foot -"pivot foot"- is in the air). Don't forget, this movement must be continuous (rhythm).
