23 October 2011 Hi everyone, Well it has been a frustrating year over all on the court. I really haven not been able to shake the small problems with the foot since the surgery in March. It is hard because I wanted to play Davis Cup so badly this year and needed quite a few pain killers to get out on the court in China and Sydney. With that said it is always going to be tough to play your best tennis with so few matches under your belt. 今年仍舊被腳傷困擾 出賽次數還是很有限 甚至在戴盃之役 得要依賴止痛藥才能上場比賽 Right at the moment it is all about focusing on getting the foot right for the start of 2012 because the rest of my body feels good. 所幸其他身體部位無恙 I am looking forward to starting the season at the Hopman Cup again with very tough matches against Verdasco, Gasquet and Wu. Hopefully Jarmila and I can give ourselves a chance to make the final. Straight after that I will be playing the Apia Sydney International, which I am really excited about. I have always felt right at home at this tournament and would love nothing more than to put myself in a position to try and win a 5th title there. After that it is the big one, the Australian Open in Melbourne. This is where you want it all to come together and play your best tennis. It is a tough run to win 7 best of 5 set matches in gruelling conditions. You have got to be physically and mentally ready. 期待霍普曼杯的到來 將遇上西班牙代表Verdasco、法國Gasquet 和 中國的吳迪 想必是場場硬仗 希望能和Jarka一起打進決賽 緊接著就是雪梨賽 能在家鄉參賽感覺很棒 我會嘗試在這裡贏下第五次冠軍 ~ (Hewitt 雪梨賽冠軍年份: 2000、2001、2004、2005) 然後 一月的重頭戲 澳洲網球公開賽 得在折磨人的天氣條件下 進行七場的五盤大戰 所以 一定得照顧好身體狀態 對此有心理準備 On another note, Bec, Mia, Cruz and myself enjoyed celebrating little Ava's 1st birthday.
