(1) I like to read books, such as novels and biography. 很明显such as只是补充说明 如果不要也无所谓 (2) The leader can't deal with things such as audit and product management. 试着不去看such as後面的资讯 你会发现无法知道到底他不会什麽 这个时候such as成分就变得需要 因此不能加comma 再看看这个题目 I've been to some countries in Europe, such as France and Germany. 这句such as成分是nonrestrict,或者说是adjunct 不是语意必要的成分 所以要有comma 这是我为什麽坚持这一题such as前面要有comma的原因 另外再讨论一下有推文指出cambridge(刚好是我最爱的字典)的例子不用comma 但他的例子不用comma即是我说第(2)规则 我们看一下cambridge的例子 That sum of money is to cover costs such as travel and accommodation. 钱是用来付旅游和住宿的费用 假使你不带出such as後的东西 是不是就语意不完整 因此我们说这个such as是必要的 当然就不要comma 推文举的longman的例子也是一样的道理 你们就自己体会罗: Cartoon characters such as Mickey Mouse and Snoopy are still popular. 另外 像这种当such as是必要的时候 我们会直接写 such ... as ... 这才是最好的写法 所以cam的句子可以改写成这样 That sum of money is to cover such costs as travel and accommodation. Longman的例子改写: Such cartoon characters as Mickey Mouse and Snoopy are still popular. 我上面第二个例句也可以改写成 The leader can't deal with such things as audit and product management. DONE! --
