标题[分享] 全额奖学金：马斯达尔理工学院(位於阿布达比近杜拜)

还记得去年此时正要申请马斯达尔理工学院
(Masdar Institute of Science and Technology，简称MIST)
转眼间已完成了第一学期的学业
这一学期课业虽繁重，但也玩得非常开心，和来自世界各地的同学一起去杜拜玩了好几次
(目前只有二届约150位学生来自32国!含埃及、约旦、黎巴嫩、叙利亚、美国、芬兰、
德国、义大利、冰岛、墨西哥、孟加拉、尼泊尔、印度、巴基斯坦…，非常国际化!
台湾学生目前有三人，另有一位台湾教授(成大、MIT毕))
更开心的是花的钱全是来自学校的奖学金 XD (月薪AED4000，约台币36000)
不仅如此，学校还供住宿送笔电、机票、教科书、健保，
连托福、GRE都可以退费，真的可以说是"有吃又有抓"
在这里只要会说英文就够了！因为本地阿拉伯人占不到20%(且他们英文都很好XD)
商店店员都来自菲律宾或印度，所以讲英文拢A通
虽然MIST是和MIT合作，但我当初还是挺担心中东学校的教学品质，
没想到这里教授大多来自MIT，且在MIT训练两年才来的
教学课程几乎完全从MIT移殖过来(SYLLABUS、PPT)，有不少研究都是和MIT合作
学生、老师也经常赴MIT参加CONFERENCE或开会，因此教学、研究品质都在水准之上
校园9月才刚完工，建筑采用高度节能材料与设计，既有科技感又不失中东风情
实验设备采购也毫不手软，经费似乎无上限
毕业後可选择继续留下读PHD或跳槽到MIT或其他学校
要在当地就业也不是问题，因为阿布达比正如火如荼地发展中
现在想想当初放弃CMU ETC到阿布达比念书真是一个完全不後悔的决定 :-)

For September 2011, the Masdar Institute will offer seven 24-month Master of

‧MSc in Engineering Systems and Management
