I had a dream, in the sixties,
Joining the Communists, beating the beat of
The flowers that imagined Peace
Anarchists, the existential, the free-souled and the Left
When Dylan sang,
Knocking on Machine’s Door
To Howl, to brave against
The living of living, the being and the non-being
A Failed World that kidded itself out of us,
We never set foot on
For I am not there,
Was, or never will be
