Not resigned to
Not resigned to dial your number
Not resigned to add tea with sugar
Not resigned to feel discomfort
Not resigned to pretend we’re better
But not resigned to tell you the problem
For you’re not resigned to give one answer
Not resigned to cook a chicken
Not resigned to remain a dinner
Not resigned to fall asleep
As not resigned to waken of a sudden
Not resigned to let world listen
Not resigned to be born at random
But not resigned to continue with no reason
