Of Legends and Wonders
Towers built,
Not for destruction by immortal wrath,
Or description marking scattered past,
But before marveling eyes,
Every scribble, every sketch,
Every season under shade or sand,
Piling journals but a sign of dreams
That many seeks to revive in scripts,
But by desires that spurs our path,
We had left a part of us behind,
For even a picture of vivid imagination
Cannot again bring fear to the heavens.
