标题[创作] A Postcard from Kyoto

I received a postcard from Kyoto,
in the front side of which was a tree-flanked pathway
leading to a temple. The picture was so vivid that I
sauntered with the green sky spreading overhead the trail
where shadows rest'd upon shadows. So slowly I ventured
to the door, not knowing what awaited if stepped foward;
an ancient voice reckoning me, that echoed with my heartbeats,
clanged and stormed my restless bell, and
darkly I knew I would go: fresh incense into the burner --
while my breaths in fervent sweat floundered
at the back of the temple through the honey words of hers.
