上礼拜收到封给我奖学金的单位(FSMP)的信，内容是有关他们今年开始的一个新的国际学 生留学计画，以往在巴黎念M1跟M2没有奖学金或者很少，就我所知的他们给的金额非常优 渥，如果算一下在法国的生活费，甚至比这里的博士生拿到的钱还多一点点...... (FSMP一个月给1100欧另外还给付注册费社会保险跟来回机票然後可以申请房补200左右， 而这里的博士生算是职员领薪水1750左右扣税完是1300左右但因为是工作无法申请房补 ，说真的，实拿的钱比较多一点点点，只不过这些给奖学金的单位没有发现这件事......) 至於程度上我觉得程度好一点的数学系大学生或是硕一念完都可以直接申请M2， 这里的学生除了ENS这种高教出来的以外程度普遍都普普，不用太担心。 唯一的问题是语言，虽然网页里写会有英文授课的课程，但我自己碰到的状况是 大多数的教授因为大多数的学生不太会英文(包含一些西班牙人等等不单是法国人)， 所以都用法文上课，我还没有上过一堂用英文授课的课。所以我觉得从M1开始也不错， 而你所注册的学校都会提供免费的法文课。 总之，有兴趣到巴黎念数学的同学可以参考看看，不是只有纯数而已， 机率统计应数商数资工都有，三月初截止。 ps 1. 因为FSMP算是私人单位不算是法国政府的奖学金，签证费用无法抵免。 ps 2. M2念完可以直接申请学校的PhD或是在当地找实习，这会在学校申请的步骤 时学校网页会写清楚；而学校通常是四五月开始申请，所以先後顺序是先 申请这个之後再去向学校申请入学，而FSMP的人员跟这些学校的人大多重复 ，基本上会是直接入取，不会有申请到奖学金而没学校念的状况。 ps 3. 虽然我是进六大但是办法国学生签证手续会因为六大的注册手续而有些麻烦 ，所以建议会是到时候学校申请七大会比较简便，至於九大我不熟所以不确 定。 以下是信件的内容，详细资讯信里的连结有，写得很详尽。 (我当初连个网页都没有，是透过我教授介绍的，手续也比较麻烦， 某种程度上算是他们办这个计划的白老鼠吧...不过也是非常幸运就是了) Dear Madam or Sir, The Fondation Sciences Mathématiques de Paris is launching a new international program: Paris Graduate School of Mathematical Sciences (PGSM). It offers master course scholarships to excellent students having studied abroad and wanting to follow a master in mathematics or fundamental computer science in Paris from Fall 2010.
