课程目标
本课程旨在协助同学厚植传播理论之学养。藉由课堂的讨论鼓励学生思辩,藉由学期论文
的书写培养学生发展研究问题,运用文献建构剖析问题的视角。
课程大纲
课程内容涵盖:一、传播理论的立基、结构与流派发展;二、新闻相关理论(议题设定、
框架理论、公共新闻、新闻与新传播科技、新闻效果、第三人效果、阅听人等);三、新
传播科技相关理论(资讯理论、不确定性与传播、电脑中介传播、新媒介新用途)

课程要求/评分标准
(一) 导读指定教材(20分):每周指定教材由数位同学负责导读(依全班总人数调定
每周导读人数),每篇文章依其长短导读时间为25-40分钟,导读成绩依导读实质内容评
定,与时间长短无关。导读同学请在上课前一周将导读纲要张贴於本课程之远距教学网,
导读纲要应涵盖指定教材中的要点:
1.与理论相关的要点(摘要阅读文献中的概念或理论)
2.与论文结构相关的要点(理论论述型的论文theoretical paper,需摘要整理建构论述
的证据、逻辑、脉络; 理论予以经验实证的论文 empirical paper、需摘要整理研究问题
、研究问题的脉络、引用文献、证据分析研究问题的技巧)。
(二)课堂口试(20分):非导读同学亦需熟读阅读文献,上课时我会介入导读,随机点
选非导读同学回答课堂口试问题。课堂口试问题特别关注导读大纲未注意到、或是未叙明
的教材要点。
(三)学期论文(60分)
1. 研究可以独力完成,也可以是2至3人的合作成果。
2. 研究的配分与进程规划(进程规划依全班总研究数量多寡再做调整)
一稿(20分):第9、10周(11/9 &16)讨论,讨论前一周交稿。
二稿(20分):第16、17周(12/28 & 1/4)讨论,讨论前一周交稿。
完稿(10分): 1月11日下午2点10分之前缴交。
3. 除了书写论文还要负责评论一份论文(10分)。请同学铭记在心,好的评论不是只看
缺点不看优点,看到缺点应帮忙思考如何改善,而非仅有批评没有建议。
