书籍资讯 书名： How to Watch Football: 52 Rules for Understanding the Beautiful Game, On and Off the Pitch 作者：Tifo the Athletic 出版社：Particular Books ----- 网志版：https://reurl.cc/AbNkEj 跨完年才後知後觉今年是男子世足年！推亲朋好友入足球坑的时间又到了。如果只能推荐 一本足球书给刚接触足球的朋友，这本会是我的首选。 Tifo是支擅长以简洁动画影片介绍足球大小事（易懂的赛事分析、时事与历史懒人包等） 的团队，於2022年11月出版了纸本版的足球懒人包——也就是200多页的图文书How to Watch Football: 52 Rules for Understanding the Beautiful Game, On and Off the Pitch。这本书维持了Tifo的一贯风格，以52个篇章、每篇章各4页的简洁图文内容（扣除 标题页，每个章节实际上只有两页）来带领读者认识足球运动场上场下最应该知道的52条 守则。 52条守则中，为首的是「看球赛时眼睛别跟着球跑！」从观赏赛事时眼睛不要只盯着球跑 、为什麽开短的角球比想像中更有效率、换上防守球员不见得就是要加强防守、阵型介绍 、用简单算数教读者怎麽看xG（expected goals）等「场上」知识；也谈转会窗口如何运 作、怎麽估算球员身价、卖球衣真的能赚大钱吗、青训系统的重要性、球队的主要收入为 何等「场下」知识；到介绍足球史上几位影响深远的人物，议题丰富，应该涵盖了大部分 新手球迷想要知道的眉眉角角。 此外，从第34章（介绍现任赖比瑞亚总统George Weah，第一位也是目前唯一一位拿过金 球奖的非洲球员）、第47章、第48章（女足相关）、第49章（体育洗白）、第51章（改革 了非洲足协的球迷）与第52章（暖化对足球的影响）也可看出Tifo团队对足球延伸出的种 族、性别、政治与气候等议题的关怀。 艺术总监Alice Devine主导的插画与配图除了维持Tifo一贯生动清楚的风格，在讲解角球 、边线球、守门员时，配图都有女性球员，其他章节的解说插图也有呈现不同性别与肤色 的球员。Tifo以这些细微的体贴，展现了团队的平权意识。 诚如此书开头所言，「足球应该怎麽看」这个问题的正确答案是「爱怎麽看就怎麽看」。 How to Watch Football只是提供读者一些如何欣赏赛事的角度，以及思考足球相关议题 时可能的切入面。足球应该怎麽看——等着每位读者去发掘定义。 因为是写给初次接触足球的人，熟悉足球的读者或许会觉得这本书有些寡淡——那就陪新 入坑的亲朋好友一起读吧！林欣楷在《我们的足球梦：从日治到战後，台湾百年足球记忆 》（2022）是这麽说的：「凡是在争取政策补助与宣传时，摆脱『足球沙漠』都是一个易 於理解和操作的符号。但反过来说，这也是形塑出一种只有小圈子不断在努力的苦行者形 象，难以引发外界人士共鸣。世界盃观众、台湾球迷、欧洲职业联赛球迷、足球社群、休 闲运动者、移工足球，这些群体一再被划分和区隔，即便有那麽多人都在踢足球，却难以 被联系起来。」 距离夏天的世界盃还有几个月，现在开始自己读How to Watch Football、陪亲朋好友上 老下小读，或是读了之後再以说书方式分享给左邻右舍，六月看球时大家都说I know ball——反正看不懂的就一定是裁判眼花——四舍五入快转一下，相信不久的将来台湾女 足男足就都能踢进世界盃会内赛了，台湾足球感谢你的支持。 52条观球守则： 1.
