朝鲜将在下一场比赛迎来葡萄牙 人民的鲁尼说他要试着做到更好并取得进球
葡萄牙是顶尖的队伍 这将士一场艰难的比赛但我们准备好面对
North Korea striker Jong Tae-Se is hoping to open his goalscoring account
against Portugal at the 2010 World Cup.
The Asian side, written off before their recent encounter against Brazil,
were widely expected to crumble at the hands of one of the favourites
to win the competition.
However, resolute play by the DPRK saw them lose 2-1, in a game that
featured a moment of brilliance from Samba star Maicon.
Now the North Koreans will take on Portugal in their second game in
Group B, after Cristiano Ronaldo and co. stumbled their way to a goalless
draw against Ivory Coast.
"I'm going to try to improve for the next game and score my first goal,"
the hitman said on FIFA.com.
"Portugal are a top-class team, like Brazil, and it is going to be very
hard but we're going to keep trying to make it."
The powerful forward was responsible for creating the goal that his
side scored against the five-time world champions, and is sometimes
referred to as 'the People's Rooney'.
