He got promoted last month when he finished his MBA and now works in a much greater capacity in their marketing department. He has stated that Whitney is already done with 15 songs and has been recording other songs because they haven't finalized the 5 that will be featured on the album, but they keep sending her back in the studio. He said that many people in their office read this web page to see what we're saying and they laugh at us all the time because of where our minds go with what she may/may not be doing. Now here's the poop scoop. She's apparently recorded three songs with David Foster to date...not just one. He said one of them is titled "You Chose To Lose" or "You Had To Lose" (?? I was trying to retain as much as I could) and is supposed to be a KILLER ballad. He has met Whitney, this I know, but he's not a big fan of hers because her music "ain't his thing, really". She WILL perform at Clive's Pre-Grammy Party, and the only reason he says he knows is because he was working with "Creative" on the program for the evening. He doesn't know what she will perform, though. He said "don't sweat how hard she's coming...Whitney's comeback is the biggest project for our fiscal year, so you know it's going to be big" is what he told me. He did say to expect a single in March and no sooner. He said she's going to be on many TV shows and is doing a big interview with Oprah/Diane Sawyer - he doesn't know which, only because they said it states "ABC TV Interview" on part of her schedule. He said he doesn't even know if she'll be at the Grammy's and that any speculation could be because Clive got her added last minute. That's all I could get out of him, but he's normally good with information. He told me before that she was going to perform at the Billboards in December, but it ended up being KL. He said she's flying to LA next week to rehearse at a Sound Stage in Burbank. I didn't want to share because you never know exactly what's true and what's not, but he has been right about a few things before...especially when he had told me that Whitney had re-recorded her songs in higher keys because her range improving and then we heard reports of that. Oh well, just something for y'all to feast your eyes on. --
