The conclusion was only that a Nothing would render the same service as a Something about which nothing could be said. We've only rejected the grammar which tends to force itself on us here. Wittgenstein在这里谈的是有关sensation (特别关於pain)主题。虽然有关於主观的 sensation和private experience我们都不能用语言谈（大致上，在PI里Wittgenstein 主张语言的意义在於使用，而使用pain的时候，我们要能指涉到一个可以被社群所观 察到的对象；例如：「桌子」之於放在客厅的桌子。但pain并没有办法被此种方式所 指涉，因此我们无法使用语言谈pain），但这不代表sensation is a Nothing. 我们目前所拥有的宣称是：我们不能谈sensation。(nothing could be said) 而虽然我们可以说sensation is not a Something (which you can refer to)，但是 如果我们说It is a Nothing (because nothing could be said），那在这里就跟说 it is a Something (something that nothing could be said)一样。所以 Wittgenstein在304特别说了：It is not a Something, but not a Nothing either! 我的观察啦。 --
