标题[问题] 请问一个词的意思

想请教一个词的意思 the furniture of the world
首先从SEP facts这个词条第一段这样写到：
Facts, philosophers like to say, are opposed to theories and to
values, they are the objects of certain mental states and acts,
they make truth-bearers true and correspond to truths, they are
part of the furniture of the world. We present and discuss some
philosophical and formal accounts of facts.

然後从SEP object这个词条里面，引用的罗素着作里有这个词：
The theory of classes is less complete than the theory of
descriptions, and there are reasons… for regarding the definition
of classes that will be suggested as not finally satisfactory.
Some further subtlety appears to be required… The first thing is
to realize why classes cannot be regarded as part of the ultimate
furniture of the world. (1919, 182)

另外还有哲学家Mario Bunge的其中一本着作就叫做The Furniture of The World
但就这些出处来说都只是提到而已，对於门外汉来讲这个词仍然没有得到解释
不知道有没有哲学好心人帮忙解释这个词的意思为何？
