标题[请益] 请问两个德文哲学用语

我最近在读H-G Gadamer，
在“The Problem of Historical Consciousness”这一篇文章中，
Gadamer使用了
verstehen
与
l'entendement
二字，
但英译同为understanding。
想请问大家，
这两个德文单字在意义上有何差别呢？
