标题[请益] “designata”这个字......

卡尔纳普的《语意学导论》（Introduction to Semantics, Cambridge, Massachu-
setts: Harvard University, 1942）第49页，有下面这段话︰
“It is convenient to adopt for semantical discussions a use of the
term‘designation’which is wider than the ordinary use, so that we may
speak of the
designata not only of individual constants and
predicates but also of functors and sentences.”
其中，我用亮白色处理的这个字，“designata”，请问有谁知道它是哪一国的语文呢？
（我怀疑它是义大利文）又，这个字是否可以对应英文的“designation”？
对了，这本书应该还没有中译本吧？
