Who's hot? Jason Terry
His shot has been sizzling of late. He's hit 22-of-36 in the last three
games, and his confidence seems to be at an all-time high. ... Utah's Matt
Harpring has hit at least 50 percent from the field in each of the last six
games, including a 13-for-19 showing Wednesday against Denver, when he had 31
points. Of course, the Jazz has lost its last five games. ... Carlos Boozer
has had a wonderful season and is coming off a 19-point, 14-rebound effort
against the Nuggets.
Who's not? Jazz in Dallas
The Jazz is 1-9 at AAC, including a 101-79 loss Dec. 11.The Jazz avenged
that loss with a three-point win in Utah in January. This will be the final
meeting; the teams hook up only three times this season. ... Former The
Colony standout Deron Williams has had a strong season and should get some
support for most improved player. But his recent games have left lots to be
desired. He's just 9-of-27 from the field in the last two games and 30-of-78
in the last six.
Injuries
Mavericks:
D.J. Mbenga (right knee) is out;
Erick Dampier (right shoulder) is out.
Jazz:
Andrei Kirilenko (left thumb) is out;
Gordan Giricek (right side) is day-to-day.
