今天笔译课看到一句话
What the farm worker observes on his television set are the often distant and
somewhat alien mores of the urban, industrial world.
农夫在电视上看到的往往是工业都市的生活方式，而这样的方式离对他们来说陌生又遥远
。
这是老师建议的翻法，但我不管看了几次都觉得很奇怪，可是自己又说不出来是哪里怪，
想请问大家这句该怎麽翻会比较好
