标题[英中] 想确认provided that的用法

做翻译练习的遇到两个句子：
Prospects that they meet at events, provided that the individuals indicated
that they would be willing to receive a follow-up call.
Individuals that have been referred by other (referring) individuals,
provided that an introduction has been made by the referring individual.
第一句我不确定provided是做为动词，还是连接词的provided that来使用。
若是前者的话，我不知道要怎麽翻；而後者的文法使用上又好像有点奇怪。
第二句的架构跟第一句差不多，除了一样的问题以外，
我也不太确定refer这边要怎麽翻译，意思才会比较恰当。
麻烦善心人士开示，感谢。
