标题[英中] 请问两段翻译错误

前几天去试译英翻中，但被回绝了，还指出其中两段译文「过於直译／语意不正确」。
想了很久，不知道要怎麽改善好，所以上来请教大家，还烦请不吝指教。
1.
However, this also means there is greater potential that more personal
information and business data will exist in the cloud and be passed back and
forth, and with that comes significant implications for applying proper
security to protect the data and establishing privacy policies.
我的翻译：
然而，这同时也意味着更多的个人资料与商业资料，将更可能存在云端并来回传递，随之
而来的是对采取适当的安全措施以保护资料，以及建立隐私政策的显着影响。

个人也觉得後两句读起来不太顺，请问有没有更好的译法？

To capitalize on the opportunities that the IoT brings, doesn't just require
networked connections but secure networked connection.
我的翻译：
为了利用物联网带来的机会，需要的不仅是网路连结，而是安全的网路连结。

这段我想更久，因为我想不通哪里「过於直译」或是「语意不正确」。
唯一想到的可能是「不仅...」後面接「还...」比较顺，
但好像也不能算是直译或语意上的问题？？？
