原文：
过年是一种完满的时节，所有的物品和活动都有特别的结束和开始的意义，大家在仪
式中完成好的收尾和起头。脱离的传统家族关系，年节就显得冷清；少了丰裕的食物货品
，气氛就显得单薄；若不放肆地玩乐，那几天的假期其实非常乏味，而且街景稀松平常，
像随便一个星期天。正因有了这些累赘的吉祥小东西、疲劳轰炸的贺年音乐，还有令人疲
於奔命的返乡大事饮食小事，人人在冷风里瞎忙，於是，天地悠悠之间，活着就不再冷飕
飕，反而有种切身磨蹭的温软。一切事物因琐碎拥挤至极，溢了出来，忽然就有完满的意
义。
译文：
Chinese New Year is a fulfilled time when every triviality and
celebration comes to an end and is given a start with a specific meaning.
Everybody finishes and begins everything through the rituals. Without
traditional family gathering, it is desolate; without abundant groceries, it
is lacking; without fun and entertainment, it is dull. The street is
ordinary; the holidays
are like any other Sundays. It is because of those
cumbersome propitious stuff, tiresome celebrating songs, and wearisome
travels and feasts, that people are busy in the winter wind. Therefore, in
the vast world, life itself is no longer chilly. Instead, there is a warmth
of being close and being together. Everything, due to the triviality and
crowdiness, overflows and fulfills.
