这几天在做出版社自荐
是有关一本旅游文学的书
不过这一句让我整个停摆不知道如何是好
原句如下：
Cutting a path along the highways and byways of the continent, this book
lifts the lid on the Liberators' legacies and sniffs behind their modern
status.
主要是最前面 cutting a path along the highways 让我很犹豫
这里指的有没有上高速公路阿？
还是指说沿着高速公路旁的道路？
抱歉如果这问题太幼稚了 我是个翻译新手
