遇到这个句子：
The certificate used to generate the signature on a SAML request to
the Identity Provider for a service provider initiated SAML login,
when Mattermost is the Service Provider.
(短短的名词)(後面一长串的子句在定义描述这个名词)
这种直译好像也很奇怪，我现在是暂时翻成这样：
对 SAML 要求进行签章时所用的凭证。仅当 Mattermost 是服务提供者时，
对身份识别提供者提出 SAML 登入要求时使用此凭证。
请问版友遇到这种句子会怎样翻让他比较像中文
