昨天去请教英文补习班老师，他回我了
所以将我整理出来的贴上来和大家分享
China’s economy was growing at an annual rate of 9.7 percent ,by far the
strongest performance "by" any of the world’s biggest economies.
翻译：中国每年9.7%的经济成长率是目前世界几大强势经济体中表现最好的
老师说这里的by 应该是修饰 performance，
带有 "performed by" 的味道：「由某人演出、某人的表现」

基础：
1 The dance was performed by Duncan.
2 It was a great performance by Duncan.
进阶：
The dance was performed by many best dancer such as Duncan, Henry and Michael.
Duncan's dance was the greatest performance by any of the best dancer.
把舞蹈改为经济成长，意思是说：9.7% 的成长率是最佳演出
by any of the world's biggest economies.
