Iihara, an infielder from the Yakult Swallows organization,
played a significant role in the CaneFires' several lopsided
victories this week. Iihara played three games on the week,
going
4-for-9 with two home runs, seven RBI, and four runs scored
Iihara's honor is the first for a CaneFires player this season.
饭原也是继乐天的有铭与巨人的辻内，第三个获选单周最佳选手的日本球员。
此外，目前饭原以3支全垒打暂居夏威夷冬联的全垒打王，9分打点则居第三。먊
