practically speaking, is a t-test.

: 这个统计方法的目的是什麽?
: 看文章好像是在评估统计方法的适用性
: 又或是 assumption 的正确性
: 不知道对否?
LRT 就是一种检定(test)方法, 目的就是.... 检定.
我不晓得要如何用 LRT 来"评估"统计方法.

你可以翻任何一本数理统计的书, 里面都会谈到 LRT, 跟你说的似乎没有关系.
