We know Hushi had families but what is her relationship to them? We finally know trip has a sister, but she dies before she ever showed up. How can we feel that same way like Trip. We know Malcolm has a long family history in military but we still know very little about him. In TNG, we know Picard's family, his brother, neuphew, and his grape garden. We know data, and his father Dr. Song, his mother and his evil brother Lotan. We know Troy and her crazy mother. We know Wolf and his human parents, problematic human brother and his family history in Klingon society. What I want to say is that they fail to define the personality of the charactes before they land them in a big story. We can hardly feel the same way they feel since we know very little of them, especially Hushi. They are all good actors but it will be difficult for them to deliver the performance if even the producer and director has no idea who the character is. UPN should let go so the legend can live on without UPN. Sci-Fi is doing very well and at least they can have some top actors to be guest stars, instead wrestlers.
