If you own a Sony Xperia device, and you're wondering if it's going to be offi
cially updated to Google's brand new辠ndroid 7.0 Nougat, Sony can now give yo
u an answer. The company today revealed a list of smartphones (plus one tablet
) that will certainly get Nougat at some point. Here's the list, with devices
shown in chronological order, from the oldest to the newest released:

At the moment, it's not clear exactly when Sony will be ready to release Andro
id 7.0 Nougat updates for the Xperia models listed above. But we'll let you kn
ow as soon as we have new official info on this. Meanwhile, a limited number o
f Xperia X Performance owners in Europe can already謌est Android Nougat thank
s to a beta program.
