标题[心得] 加拿大多伦多/北美Amazon工作机会

帮先生分享资讯，希望可以帮助到想要出国工作的後进
Amazon在5/30-6/9针对台湾人提供多伦多职缺的virtural hiring event，有兴趣可以提

自己的一点心得分享，先生是2018年hiring event拿到的offer，amazon帮我们搬家到温
哥华，满一年以後用L1内转美国，2年後顺利拿到绿卡

个人觉得如果想到美国工作，是一条比念书便宜的路，也免去抽h1b的风险，当时朋友也
有喜欢加拿大直接拿枫叶卡，拿到公民後再到美国工作的
cons
加拿大税重消费高，实际收入不见得比台湾高多少，不过很多人喜欢环境，所以见仁见智
罗
总体而言对於想出国工作的工程师算是不错的机会可以试试，不好意思他工作忙，面试的
问题我可能没办法回答，只能分享资讯，当时先生持续刷题了一段时间，所以面试还算顺
利，以下是相关条件
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
1+ years of experience contributing to the architecture and design (architectu
re, design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and current systems.
2+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
Programming experience with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or
C# including object-oriented design
Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics, or a related
technical discipline
Knowledge of distributed systems as it pertains to data storage and computing
Proficiency in, at least, one modern scripting or programming language such as
Python, NodeJS, Java, or Scala.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years of software development professional experience
Masters degree in Computer Science, Math or Physics or a related field
Experience in the advertising or search industries
Experience implementing Machine Learning algorithms
Experience building software systems that have been successfully delivered to
customers
Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for
the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code rev
iews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations
Experience in databases, analytics, big data systems or business intelligence
products
Experience with building high-performance, highly-available and scalable distr
ibuted systems.
Deep hands-on technical expertise, excellent verbal and written communication
skills
Experience with Agile software development techniques.

疫情前活动面试官会专门飞到亚洲面试，疫情後暂停了一段时间，而且之前主要是中国为
