Kyle's Road Journal KK西游记 Dec. 29: hello hello... lets see, where to begin today. i suppose i should start with the game last night.. but i don't want to so we're gonna skip it. i woke up this morning at 8:00 and couldn't fall back asleep. but i didn't really want to watch tv, so i did everything else i couldn think of. i'm currently reading blue like jazz by donald miller. it's actually my second time reading it. it's fantastic. miller basically goes through his thought process which he went through in developing his faith. he doesn't just accept the "this is the way my family believes" or "this is what i was taught when i was young." he questions things, he watches people, and he experiments..all while keeping an open mind. the first time i read this book, i was like, "man! this is exactly how i feel!" it was exciting to me because i feel like to so many people christianity is predictable and boring. i know it i've felt like that.. but i got news for you.. IT DOESN'T HAVE TO BE! but anyway, if your on a 12 day 5 state road trip and need something to do to pass the time, pick it up. blue like jazz. 12月29日：嗨嗨...嗯，今天要先说什麽呢。我想还是先谈谈昨天晚上的比赛好 了...可是我又不想了所以我们跳过。今天早上八点就醒了，而且後来也睡不着 ，可是我不想看电视，所以就做了其他我想得到的事。现在在看Donald Miller 的Blue Like Jazz这本书，这已经是我第二次读它了，很赞。基本上Miller把 自己建立信仰的过程叙述了一遍。他不是单纯的接受「我家人都这样相信」或 「我小的时候是这样学的」这些原因，而是提出质疑、观察别人、自己实验... 同时保持一个开放的态度。我第一次看的时候，就觉得「哇！这根本在写我嘛！ 」对我来说真的是很兴奋，因为很多人都觉得基督教是很重复而无聊的东西。 我自己也曾经这样想过...但我跟你讲...其实它也可以很有趣！不管怎样啦， 如果你要在12天内跑5个州，又没事可做想杀时间，那就去买吧：Blue Like Jazz。 the other thing i'm really into is SUDOKU. i don't even know if i spelled that right. i'm not even sure how to say it. it's kinda like a crossword puzzle with numbers. i could go into more depth but i would just confuse not only you but me, so i'm gonna stop there. 我还有一个兴趣：数独，其实我连是不是这样拼都不确定，连怎麽念这个字都 不知道。它有点像填字游戏的数字版，当然我可以再多讲一点啦，但是那样不 只你会听不懂，连我都会。所以呢我就不说了。 gonna go see king kong tonight! kinda excited. been a while since i went to a movie, but i think a few of us are going to check it out. i'll let you know tomorrow how it is. going to get a fenzian treatment. if you want to know what it is, then ask todd macculloch. he will tell you ALL about it. it's basically a new and i believe revolutionary way of treating and stimulating the body's self healing proccess. for more info www.fenziansport.com there you have it! later! 今天晚上要去看金刚！还蛮高兴的，很久没看电影了，这次要跟几个人一起去 ，明天我再跟你们说好不好看。还有要去接受所谓Fenzian疗法。如果你想知道 这是什麽，就去问Todd Macculloch吧，他会一五一十毫不保留的通通跟你说。 基本上这是一种新式--我认为是革命性的--疗法，可以治疗和刺激身体的自我 修护机制，更多资讯请看www.fenziansport.com，就酱！掰！ --
