Daniel Nestor has turned 46 a few days ago and he will play his last career match in the doubles rubber, calling it a career after this Davis Cup tie. The Netherlands Davis Cup captain Paul Haarhuis was also a doubles specialist and these two had a chance to play numerous matches on the Tour, starting from Australian Open 1994, way before Denis Shapovalov and Felix Auger-Aliassime were born! Felix was forced to retire in the opening round of the US Open against Shapovalov due to health issues but he is ready to make his Davis Cup debut if Frank Dancevic offers his the opportunity to play.
