Clothes can also provide with accessory value, say, personal characteristics. When you put on a piece of clothing, you know it will be seen, so you've decided what you are going to show to other people about what kind of person you are. Different clothes give a variety of features. So if a school require its students to wear uniform, it will deprive them of the right to distinguish themselves. Everyone wears the same uniform, and then of course there'll be fewer peculiarities one can pick out from individuals. But there's a justified cause to wear uniform. To develop a sense of camaraderie among a group or a team, each member should learn to identify with each other. And when they see something on other members which they also carry on themselves, they'll feel belonging to a common cause, a common goal. So they can work toward the same objective. --
