In today's world inundated with diversity, although it is difficult for teenage children to make decision from a lot of choices, nevertheless, if we always make decisions for our teenage, they wouldn't know how to make good determinations on their own in the future. To begin with, making decisions is a kind of life skill like driving; no one could learn it well without any practicing. Nobody could acquire the driving skill by just seeing the driver how to drive. Making decisions is also the same, if we always make decisions for youth, they never make decisions on their own, and they wouldn't acquire the skill forever. In fact, making decisions is not an easy job. Before you make a decision, you have to think many aspects of the situation and any possible conclusion followed your decisions. Although the process is difficult and torturing, but you could learn a lot from the process, it makes your thoughts become more and more mature or discreet. Moreover, if you do a good decision, you could get more self-confidence and self-esteem; you would have more courage to try to make other determinations in the future. As long as you keep trying it, you would be more and more familiar with the process of making decisions. If you never try it, you also never understand how to determine anything around your life. Additional, sometimes you might make some wrong determinations; it is not meaningful or useless. Even though you make a bad decision, you would learn how to face the result and take responsibility for it. It also would be a good lesson. Moreover, you could recheck that why do you make the wrong decisions, the rechecking process is also benefit for your thoughts. Take my country, Taiwan, for example, the older teenage children in Taiwan have to face some serious decisions in their life. They should choose whether to enter university to continue studying or to find a job. Even their parents shouldn't make the decision for them, because no one knows them as well as themselves. Even they choose the wrong side; they still could change to the other side in the future. In the process, those teenage would understand themselves more and more. The experience would be an excellent didactic material for them to choose the way of future life. Parents or teachers should be consultants or audiences in those teenage life rather than hosts. In conclusion, maybe older teenage children always make some immature or incorrect decisions, if we always make decisions for them in order to avoid those immature decisions. These older teenage would never know how to a good decision and never be the host of their life. --
