TAMPA, Fla. -- Colorado Rockies pitcher Luis Vizcaino has been arrested after
police in Tampa say he was driving under the influence.
According to The Tampa Tribune, Vizcaino was charged with misdemeanor DUI.
Officers said he was going 71 mph in a 45 mph zone early Monday. Police said
Vizcaino's eyes were glassy and bloodshot and he smelled of alcohol, with his
blood alcohol level just over the limit.
The 34-year-old pitcher lives in St. Petersburg and was being held at
Hillsborough County Jail on $500 bond.
Vizcaino was 1-2 this season with a 5.28 ERA.
