Giving us… 95 wins (with the ridiculous assumption that we could win every
single series against the sub .500 teams, which is pretty ludicrous.
We either get the job done, and win a few more against the supposedly
"weaker" teams, or we really sack up and take a few series with the stronger
teams. You really think we're winning in SAFECO this year? I'm just glad
we're not going back to Detroit again.
95 Wins don't make the playoffs in the AL folks. You think Cleveland won't
end up with 96-98 wins? Seattle won't have at least 90-92? The Yanks will hit
90 wins, and possibly a lot more if they go on another prolonged winning
streak.
There is a lot of baseball to play. There is a lot of baseball to blow. Sack
up, or get sacked.
