So for me, if I’m Texas… look, they couldn’t do anything about Zack Greinke. He wanted to be a Dodger. I understand them walking away from Josh Hamilton. I agree they should not have put Profar in the Shields deal, I agree they should not have put Profar in an Upton deal, but I’m not so sure a package around Mike Olt and Cody Buckel is one that you say no to with a chance to get Upton. And I’m not sure some of these young pitchers that the Rangers have, that other teams view them as top-of-the-rotation starters like they do. … Now look, yes, it is possible if something were to happen – let’s just say Seattle’s negotiations with King Felix go south, which I don’t think is going to happen… but if it does happen, would Texas be in a good position having all these prospects? Yes, but at the same time, unless Giancarlo Stanton comes back on the market, unless they have conversations on a deal like that, I’m not sure opportunities like this come around very often.
