Mason Tobin exits with pain in right elbow 来源:http://ppt.cc/(4Op By Richard Durrett ARLINGTON, Texas -- Rangers reliever Mason Tobin left Tuesday's game with pain in his right elbow and will have an MRI on Wednesday to determine the severity of the injury. Tobin came in to relieve Colby Lewis in the sixth inning with the Rangers down 4-1. He left after facing four batters and was charged with three runs, two of which scored on Peter Bourjos' single and three-base error by David Murphy. Tobin, 23, was a Rule 5 draft pickup for the Rangers at the Winter Meetings in 2010. The Cubs drafted him from the Angels' organization and traded him to Texas. Before 2011, Tobin had never been above Class A. He had not appeared in a game in nearly two years after Tommy John surgery on his right elbow in June 2009. He had pitched just 25 professional games before this season, the last one was on April 15, 2009. He made his Major League debut on April 2 vs. Boston. As a Rule-5 draftee, Tobin must remain on the club's active roster for 90 days to avoid having to be offered back to the club that originally had him.
