莎士比亚剧本「随你欢喜」(As You Like It)第五幕中有两首诗，第一首是--- Under the greenwood tree Who loves to lie with me, And turn his merry note Unto the sweet bird's throat, Come hither, come hither, come hither. Here shall he see No enemy But winter and rough weather. 第二首是--- Who doth ambition shum, And loves to livei' the sun, Seeking the food he eats, And pleased with what he gets, Come hither, come hither, come hither. Here shall he see No enemy But winter and rough weather. 一九七二年四月八日，我在警备总司令部军法处狱中，曾把它们意译如下： 此处音宛转 人声和鸟声 仇敌都不见 除却一寒冬 煦煦春阳下 名利一场空 觅食欣所遇 知足任西东 仇敌都不见 除却一寒冬 这两首诗的意境，颇为悠闲超迈。我译它们的时候，既无「绿树荫荫」，也无「煦煦春阳 」，但我在牢里，的确有了「仇敌都不见」的清静。只是牢里的冬天很冷，我可以不见「 仇敌」，但却无法不见「寒冬」，在「寒冬」来的时候，为了御寒，每天晚上，我要在阴 暗的灯光里，咿哑的地板上，不断来回走着，边走边背书，经常两三小时。我之能背书、 能走路，都拜坐牢之赐，坐牢对强者说来，真不是坏事。 一九八三年五月九日 --
