Auburn Hills -- The Pistons, by having the worst record of all 16 playoff
teams, will have the highest draft pick of those 16 teams.
The Pistons will get the 15th overall pick in June.
In addition, the
Pistons will have three picks in the second round --
No. 36
from Minnesota (Ronald Dupree trade),
No. 39 from Toronto (Carlos Delfino
trade) and their own second-round pick at
No. 44.
On May 19, the league will conduct its draft lottery to determine the top
four picks. Sacramento (250 chances out of 1,000), Washington (178), the L.A.
Clippers (177) and Oklahoma City (119) have the best odds.
