But when he’s playing basketball that’s the personality that you need. That’s the personality that’s gotten him to this point that he is in his career. So I definitely think it’s a misconception as far as what type of person he is because away from the game of basketball you couldn’t find a more humble guy than anybody in this league, and Rasheed is one of those guys that it just doesn’t bother him. He tries not to please everybody all the time. But he’s definitely a good guy, definitely a guy I would love in my corner and would love to play with as well.” Jamison说Sheed在场外是个比他还低调的爱家男人，比联盟任何人都还谦逊的人。但 在场上他的另一种完全不同的特质才能让他变成那麽棒的球员。 On the North Carolina ties: “When I came in he was just leaving with Stackhouse. You take Rasheed Wallace off that team – they’re still a great and quality team – but he’s the heart and soul of that team. He’s the emotional leader they have. People think that because he gets mad and he goes off in a game and he speaks his mind that like he’s a thug, like he’ s a bad dude. That couldn’t be further from the truth about Rasheed. He’s nowhere near a thug. He’s a family man. Once he steps outside that rectangle, he’s totally different, totally different. But that’s cool. That ’s kind of the way he wants y’all to think. He don’t really care what y’ all really say or think about him.
