Experimental the resistivity is measured by preparing a rectangular sample
Setting up a uniform current flow along the x-direction and measuring the
longitudinal voltage drop Vx=(V1-V2) and transfer (or Hall) voltage drop
VH=(V2-V3). Setting a constant current I, then the resistivity is readily to
obtain as Rxx=Vx/I and Hall resistivity Rxy=VH/I.
