The horizontal section of pipe has a cross-section area of 40.0 (cm)

Water is flowing in the pipe, and the discharge from the pipe is

4.00*10 m /s . Find the difference in height between the mercury

columns in the U-shape tube. ( ρ= 13.6*10 kg/m )
[我的问题]
我第一步骤是由连续性方程式:
A1 × V1 = A2 × V2
但问题来了

现在题目只知道比较宽的截面积是40cm , 窄的是10
40 × V1 = 10 ×V2
题目没给 流速那该怎麽办?
