标题[问题] 什麽是Vacuum Rabi splitting

Rabi oscillation是因为atom 中 diople与外加电磁场频率有interection而产生，
那Vacuum Rabi splitting是什麽呢？看了好几篇paper只知道会splitting @@"
不太能理解他的机制。

以这篇为例，第一页里就有写到：
A simple way to understand VRS is to insert the QD or QW
absorption and refractive index into the formula for
the transmission of a Fabry–Perot interferometer;
the transmission becomes double-peaked if the
absorption is strong and narrow enough.
以我所知道的，Fabry–Perot modes 跟 QW/QD modes compete後，
只会剩下几个固定的modes，这好像不会让一个PL peak 分裂成两个，
而是让原本一包PL spectrum 变成好几个 cavity modes的peak。
但这样似乎就不是Vacuum Rabi splitting的原理了。
所以想问有没有人知道Vacuum Rabi splitting的机制呢？谢谢！
