By the midway point in the third quarter, the Knicks didn't have much fight left after the Hornets went out to a 87-67 lead after Desmond Mason's layup that was set up by a Paul bounce pass. After leading by 21 early in the fourth quarter, the Hornets then put on a dunk show, which included 5-foot-11 guard Speedy Claxton getting up for an alley-oop dunk on a pass from Paul.
