The Hornets made their first player move of the Bryon Scott era yesterday as they were the only NBA team to submit a claim for Alex Garcia off of the NBA waiver wire. The 24 year old Garcia is a 6-3 point guard from Brazil with very limited NBA experience getting only 13 minutes combined in two regular season appearances with San Antonio last season, his first in the league. Almost ironically, he had secure a roster spot with the Spurs for the 2003-04 NBA season based on the preseason game he had last October against the Hornets when he scored nine points in the first half while playing only 11 minutes. Asst. GM Allan Bristow took note and never forgot even though Garcia was to miss the first 33 games of the season due to a broken bone in his left foot which he sustained shortly after halftime of that same game against New Orleans. 唔 完全不知道他是谁 >"< --
