标题[外电] Sun going without Nash and Hill

The Suns will play their second night back-to-back-to-back games without
guard Steve Nash and forward Grant Hill. Coach Alvin Gentry said he wanted to
rest his two starters and not risk injury. “They’re a little run down,”
Gentry said. “I don’t feel it’s necessary to stick them out there with a
the possibility of injury. They’ve played a lot of minutes.” Nash leads the
team at 10.5 assists per game and is second in scoring at 14.3 points a game.
Hill is averaging 9.0 points and 3.4 rebounds a game. Gentry said an hour
before tip he hadn’t decided if he would make the two inactive or have them
in uniform in case they could make a difference late in the game. “I don’t
know, that’s why I’m contemplating on having them wear suits or not and not
dressing them out at all.” Ronnie Price and Michael Redd will start in place
of Nash and Hill and Jared Dudley will move over to the small forward
position.
