Former All-Star guard Chauncey Billups, who helped lead the Detroit Pistons
to the 2004 NBA title, is reportedly interested in becoming an NBA head coach
—news that comes after Steve Nash took over the Brooklyn Nets' staff
Thursday despite no prior professional coaching experience.
前任的明星後卫枪西毕拉普斯，曾帮助底特律活斯塞队拿下2004年总冠军，

Yahoo Sports' Chris Haynes reported the news and noted "teams have now begun
the process of researching Billups' candidacy."

In 2018, Billups told Noah Trister of the Associated Press he was hopeful of
eventually joining a franchise in a roster-building role.

inaugural Twyman-Stokes Teammate of the Year Award for the 2012-13 season.

Former Pistons head coach Stan Van Gundy credited Billups for his leadership
during the team's years as a championship contender with Richard Hamilton,
