OASIS have compiled a brand new album exclusively for NME. The band, who are set to headline this weekend's V Festival (August 20-21), have hand-picked their favourite support bands from their recent global tour and put them all on 'Oasis On The Road - World Tour 2005' - available for free with this week's issue. Amongst the bands featured on the LP are Jet, The Zutons, The Futureheads, The Coral, Yeti and Secret Machines. Speaking exclusively to NME, guitarist Noel Gallagher said: "How do we decide out support bands? If we're into them. Simple as that. Liam and me will argue it out." The CD also includes a storming live version of The Who's classic 'My Generation' played by Oasis. Gallagher said: "People keep asking us why we're doing it live when we done it on the last tour - well, we've got The Who's drummer (Zac Starkey) on this tour. He plays it properly like Keith Moon. We've kind of made it our own now."
